Hello SMS Families! Hopefully we’ve made it through the rainy season and can look forward to nicer days. Congratulations to all the 12th graders for their thoughtful and creative senior projects, now on to juries. K-8, many of your juries are over–good luck to everyone who has not yet completed theirs–and now it’s time for grade concerts!!

Rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors:
Next week, Exploring Educational Excellence (a consortium consisting of Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Rice and The University of Chicago) will be visiting your area and hosting a presentation for prospective students and their families! We are hoping you may be able to share the details of these events with your school community and with students who have previously expressed interest in any of our institutions. Sessions include a brief overview of each institution, information on admissions and financial aid, and a chance to speak informally with admissions representatives. We ask students to register to attend.
