Lisa's Weekly Notes
Hello SMS families. I hope you all enjoyed our first snowfall--it was great packing snow! Thank you to the HS families who have sent in tissues for our classrooms, please keep them coming everyone--we are in the midst of cold and flu season, and tissues are being used at record speeds. We are entering the last few weeks of school before winter break. Please, if your travel plans will cause your child to miss any school days, keep your teachers and the office in the loop. HOUSEKEEPING: Immunizations: If your child has any outstanding immunizations, you will receive notification from Nastassia. Please attend to this as quickly as possible. This is the time of year we all reflect on the things we are thankful for, and I'll just go ahead and say it, one of the many things I have to be thankful for is you! I see so many of you--students, parents, and staff, thinking beyond yourself and helping others. Whether it has been students and parents volunteering at school events, MS students raising awareness and funds to combat hunger, donating to our efforts to assist Puerto Rico recover, or just taking a minute to listen to a peer or colleague in need of a little support, your efforts make me so grateful to be a member of our SMS…
